Change Day is Sunday, December 6.

Ski service will begin. In addition to UTA's Ski Bus routes, we are partnering with UDOT to improve CS1, CS2 and CS3 service in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons.

Route 667, the Lagoon Shuttle, will be permanently discontinued and will not return for the summer 2027 season. A pedestrian bridge connecting the Farmington FrontRunner Station and Lagoon is anticipated to be complete in winter 2026, ready for Lagoon visitors in summer 2027.

There will be typical bus route and schedule adjustments, and long-term detours for buses throughout downtown Salt Lake City will begin in preparation for the 2027 Salt Lake Temple open house.

Salt Lake Temple Open House Bus Route Detours

Due to upcoming street closures, the following buses will be detoured in downtown Salt Lake City around Temple Square and the Conference Center: 1, 200, 223, 451, 455, 470, 472, and 473.

Customers should expect longer trips or take earlier trips if making a connection.

Some bus stops in the area will be temporarily closed, and some new temporary bus stops will be placed to support access to the Temple Square area. Look out for signage and use the Transit app to find the closest stop.
